After seventeen years in the financial industry, Karen Scobbie left to pursue her dream.  Karen Scobbie Cake Design LLC was launched in 2010 after years of recipe development, classes and bringing her cake designs to the next level.  She is a member of the International Cake Exploration Society (ICES) and has trained under some of the most accomplished cake designers and sugar artists in the country.  Her specialty is making what people are passionate about and she does this with gourmet cake and bulletproof construction.  (Okay, maybe not bulletproof)

Karen Scobbie Cake Design operates out of a commercial kitchen in Homewood, Illinois.  There are no pre-made cakes at this location because each cake is custom made specifically for the event.  Please call or use the Get An Estimate page to order a cake for your special event.
